Death Takes Vet Ogdenite - Israel P. Frodsham - lived here 60 years - Services Dated Wednesday for Israel Plummer Frodsham
Israel Plummer Frodsham, 80, died at his home, 103 Washington, Sunday at 12:20 PM of ailments incident to age.
He was born in Oregon Springs, Box Elder County, January 22, 1857, the first white child in that district. He was a
son of James and Amelia Aldrich Frodsham.
Resident 60 Years
He had been a resident of Ogden for sixty years and was a member of the L.D.S. Sixth Ward. For forty years he had
been affiliated with the Ogden Paint Oil and Glass company and the Bennett Paint and Glass company. He was married to
Jane Chugg who died January 15, 1925. Surviving are two daughters: Mrs. A. A. Imus, Chicago, Ill.; Mrs. Frank
Miles, of Ogden and seven grandchildren.
Rites Wednesday
Funeral services will be held at three PM Wednesday in Larkin & Sons' chapel with Bishop Lawrence H. Evans of the
L. D. S. Sixth ward conducting. Interment will be in the Ogden City cemetery. Friends may call at Larkin &
Sons' drawing room Tuesday afternoon and evening and Wednesday until the hour of the service.
Note: I found another entry that listed his DOB the same, but the place as Malad Valley, Utah (sic). Malad
is in Idaho, may have been Utah Territory? and added that he resided in Ogden since 1877.
